Erica is a Certified Dog Behavior Consultant through IAABC, Certified Professional Dog Trainer through CCPDT, as well as Fear-Free Certified for vet handling through Fear Free Pets. She is unique to other trainers in her ability to utilize a daycare, boarding, veterinary, and grooming facility in order to help your dog reach their full potential!
If your dog has anxiety or aggression in the vet hospital or in grooming, she will help acclimate them to these services in the real setting. This facility is able to board no-contact dogs and she will train these dogs during their boarding stays. If your dog struggles with fear or aggression towards dogs or people, Erica will create a strategic socialization plan using the dogs and staff at the facility. In addition to dog and human aggression, she specializes in leash reactivity. Most dog trainers only have access to their own dogs or other clients' dogs to do structured passes. These structured passes are critical to healing leash reactivity. Erica will meet you at the facility and take dogs out one at a time (choosing the perfect challenge for where your dog is at) to practice. She covers any and all dog training and behavior topics including but not limited to resource guarding, obedience, recall, separation anxiety, jumping, mouthing, destruction, and all puppy topics.
