Trainer Profile: Bridget Nicholls
Bridget is in the final stages of completing a PhD in Animal Welfare and Animal Law. Her research is focused on the Violence Link. That is the relationship between violence against people and animals. Bridget is also a Fellow with the Oxford Centre of Animal Ethics, where she contributes to pioneering ethical perspectives on animals through academic research, teaching and publications.
When she is not conducting research or teaching post-secondary students, she works at Unleashed Niagara, a positive reinforcement dog training service rooted in compassion, science, and connection.
At Unleashed Niagara we offer personalized training solutions, including group and private classes for puppies, family dogs, and sport dogs, as well as specialized canine first aid programs—ranging from kid-friendly courses to advanced first aid certification and disaster preparedness. Whether you're a first-time dog guardian, veterinary professional, or seasoned handler, our programs are designed to build confidence, strengthen relationships, and support animal wellbeing.
