Hello!

My name is Steph and I am the owner and head trainer at "Trained By Steph". My business operates internationally (by virtual appointment) as well as in-person in the Guelph, Tri-city, and surrounding areas in Ontario, Canada.

I do private 1:1 training either virtually or in-home.

I have my Master's of Science in Animal behaviour from the University of Guelph as well as my CCPDT certificant status.

I have over a decade of experience with dogs and it is my personal mission to help owners understand their dog more completely. Why does he do what he does? What's in it for him? How can we use his motivations to not only think about what we don't want him to do, but instead what we do want him to do. I want to help you reach a space of empathy and compassion for your severely disregulated dog. I want to help you understand why your puppy is destroying everything. Together, we can help make our dogs lives in this weird and crazy human world more exciting, fulfilling, and kind.
