Certifications: Certified Professional Dog Trainer - Knowledge Assessed

I approach every dog and person as an individual-- providing thoughtful, compassionate, practical, and science-based training and behavior modification. I encourage building trust with your dog, keeping training fun, and recognizing small victories. I'm available for phone, email, Zoom, or in-person behavior consultations and private training sessions in the home or outdoor public space. I can also provide adoption matchmaking assistance (Dallas-Fort Worth area). In addition to taking on private clients, I also work full-time for a rescue in a behavior and training role. I've been working in animal welfare, in a shelter setting, since 2013. This experience has given me the priceless opportunity to work with *literally* thousands of dogs and cats. They come from a variety of backgrounds, in all ages, breeds, shapes, and sizes, with a wide range of behavior and medical issues. Many of the animals I've worked with come from cruelty or hoarding cases. Working hands-on with so many different dogs in a stressful shelter environment has been an invaluable and on-going learning experience for which I am very grateful. I can't wait to meet you and your dog!
