Description
In this presentation we will discuss observation skills with respect to dog body language, proximity checks and reducing anxiety in both dogs and humans. We will talk about ways to incorporate teachable moments without a change in curriculum and how to include demonstrations that illustrate dog body language and emotion. These demonstrations include handling, resource guarding, puppy biting and how to Be a Tree. We will give some ideas for community service and how to promote your business while bringing bite prevention and body language information to the public.
