Description
What role do emotions play in behavior concerns? This paper examines one model of emotion - Panksepp’s emotional networks - to determine how well behavior problems in puppies map onto emotional networks. What do the results tell us about the relationship between emotion and behavior? And perhaps more importantly, what does this mean for real-world practice—how much should we emphasize changing individual behaviors versus the emotional systems driving them? This session will unpack the science and discuss practical takeaways for promoting wellness and lasting change.
