Dog Behavior- A Master Course for Pet Sitters and Dog Professionals. 14 week course. Weekly recorded lectures (with Fanna Easter), assignments, live discussions (with Fanna) and hands-on practice (5 hours). 35 hours to complete. 30 hours lecture/assignments/ live discussions. 5 hours hands on graded by Fanna Easter. Final exam at end of course. Syllabus: How dogs learn Dog communication (body language, vocalization, sensory perception) Stress (define, identify and reduce) Puppy behavior How to modify dog behavior Measuring behavior change Enrichment (single and multiple dogs) Behavior concern- Separation anxiety Behavior concern - Reactive/ aggressive behavior Behavior medications Partnering with Behavior Consultants, DVMs and Veterinary Behaviorists Recommended Equipment
