Description

Objectives: • Understand the safety requirements and best practices for travelling with dogs, whether by car, plane, or public transport. • Learn how to prepare dogs for travel to reduce stress and ensure comfort. • Discuss the legal requirements and documentation for service dogs and pet dogs when travelling, • Explore health considerations, such as hydration, feeding, and preventing motion sickness. • Address how to identify and manage signs of anxiety or distress during travel. Areas to Covered: 1. Preparing dogs for car, plane, and public transport travel. 2. Safety during travel (harnesses, crates, health checks). 3. Travel regulations for service dogs. 4. Tips for reducing stress during travel. 5. Health considerations: Hydration, feeding, and rest breaks.
