Description
Any dog's nose can be a huge win for a local community. When someone loses their hearing aid, jewelry, keys etc. it is time for the dogs to come to rescue. This is a great activity for all dogs, including the ones that struggles with being close to others. It works as enrichment for the dogs, while providing value to the community and there are no rules. In this presentation we will go through how this service functions and how it can work in your local community. You will see how to teach the search, and more importantly, how to teach your clients the search. We will also cover the practicalities of how to be a part of such a service and which marking the dogs need to able to start this service, helping your community. Locally, we have a nation wide group of dogs, who anyone can call. They then come and search for the lost item for free. Hopefully, this type of service, could also be beneficial for your clients. And the best part - all dogs can participate be future super searchers!
