Description
This in-person event is designed to describe "why" behaviors happen, or the functions of behavior. Using a functional approach to assessment and treatment, dog training professionals can use the most efficacious and ethical methods to reduce unwanted behaviors and increase wanted behaviors. In the presentation, participants will learn how to measure observable behaviors, describe the consequences of behaviors, and learn how to use reinforcement contingencies to promote socially appropriate behavior and reduce unwanted behavior.
