Description
Each virtual presentation will consist of 2 speakers sharing one “Pod” for approximately 70 minutes and each pod will be immediately followed by a live eCPR based discussion amongst attendees for approximately 90 minutes. PRESENTERS: Jessica Akerstrom, Marianne Asikainen, Matt Beisner, Petra Bergland, Eva Bertilsson ,Kim Brophey, Namita DigheShetty, Tess Erngren, James Evans with CARE for Equity , Kim Ewing with eCPR, Dr. Eduardo Fernandez, Denise Fenzi, Andrew Hale, Agnieska Janarek, Emelie Johnson Vegh, Nadia Khan, Aaron Michael Louis, Marissa Martino, Sindhoor Pangal, Annie Phenix, Jerri Scherff, Ji Hyung Seo with KPA Korea, Scott Stauffer, Bonz Swencionis, Therese Welander, Karolina Westlund, Tonianne Willier, Laurie Williams, Miranda Wimbush The framework for the entire conference is something called 'eCPR' https://emotional-cpr.org/ One of that 40 year old organization's leaders is Kim Ewing https://www.narpa.org/bios/kim-ewing. Kim will be our very first speaker. Kim will also provide eCPR materials to our attendees which will inform the mandatory quizzes required for attendees to request their CEUs. Executive Summary: Dog People Evolution (DPE) is a new and innovative entity within the dog industry, dedicated to fostering a community rooted in emotional awareness, respect, and inclusivity. Our vision is to support individuals and their canine companions through learning processes and positive change, free of judgment and malice. In 2025, we aim to host a hybrid conference, offering both in-person and virtual attendance options, to bring together dog enthusiasts, professionals, and advocates from around the globe. This conference will serve as a platform for education, networking, and community building, reinforcing our position as a safe and welcoming space for all. Vision and Mission - Our vision is to see dog people evolving in their commitment to support others, driven by curiosity, willingness, and humility. We aim to create a community that values emotional awareness and principled practices, offering a sense of belonging rather than imposing conformity. Our mission is to provide an inclusive environment where people from diverse backgrounds can come together to learn, share, and grow with their dogs. Conference Goals - Educational Advancement: Offer workshops, seminars, and keynote speeches by leading experts in the dog industry, focusing on how we can better support "dog people", through sharing their own dirtect experience of significant personal and professional change. Community Building: Facilitate networking opportunities and interactive sessions to foster connections among attendees, both in-person and virtually. Inclusivity and Accessibility: Ensure the conference is accessible to a diverse audience by offering low cost attendance options, providing easily accessible materials, and accommodating various needs. Market Analysis - The dog industry has seen significant growth in recent years, with increasing interest in dog training, behavior, and welfare. There is a rising demand for educational resources and supportive communities that prioritize kindness and respect.
