Description

Memory is the key to how we learn, react to our surroundings; even to our relationships. In recent years, our understanding of animal memories has evolved beyond simple stimulus-response behaviors. We now know that dogs remember more than we think, and many species can remember complex associations, interactions and consequences, and may even use those to plan future actions. Learn about what animals can remember through the lens of current neuroscience research with neuroscientist and science communicator Dr. Paula Croxson, as we explore the remarkable similarities between the brains of dogs, cats and other species, and how this helps us live with and communicate with our animal companions.
