Description

Explore animal communication from a neuroscience perspective and decipher what we can reasonably expect animals to understand - and to tell us. Communication refers to a lot more than the ability to speak a language. Through work with co-operative, social animals, we understand that nonverbal communication is just as important as spoken language, and that dogs and other animals communicate in ways that are shaped by their environment. Explore animal communication from a neuroscience perspective with neuroscientist and science communicator Dr. Paula Croxson, as we walk through how to interpret the behavior of dogs and other animals, and what we can reasonably expect animals to understand - and to tell us.
