Description
This 13 week long course comprises weekly online content and a 90-120 minute weekly class meeting covering the foundational information that all dog trainers need, including ethics, humane hierarchy, learning theory, and application, how to build skills and how to control unwanted behaviours, how developmental stages impact learning and what young puppies need in order to optimize their potential as pets. Participants will have opportunities to practice hands on exercises with dogs they have access to at home.
