Description

In this webinar, Andrew Hale brings his emotional experience lens to look at BAT (Behavior Adjustment Training) for dogs. A big part of the emotional experience is the feeling of safety and Andrew will introduce the Safety-First Protocol with a focus on social safety.T he Safety-First Protocol consists of three foundations of feeling safe: Processing, Engagement and Exits. Andrew will go through each of these and why they are important when helping dogs (and caregivers) navigate the world around them. Suitable for dog trainers, behaviorists, shelter workers who want to better help dogs who are socially sensitive. Especially those who are familiar with or curious about BAT. May also be of interest to caregivers, but do know this is a specialized webinar.
