Dog training, without the use of force or fear, is the future of animal training. Join Shannon Riley of Truly Force Free Animal Training for a comprehensive conversation about HOW to train force-free and WHAT people of every training ability can do to build fear-free relationships with animals. Day 1( Saturday) is appropriate for every dog trainer or pet parent. We will cover Understanding Canine Body Language, How Animals Learn, Principles of Positive Training, What's Your Dog's Currency, Understanding and Helping Your Reactive Dog, Can Your Dog Benefit From Food Toys, and It's More Than Just Training! Day 2 (Sunday morning) is focused on advanced methodology for animal professionals but may also be appropriate for pet parents. Included are Preventing Bites in the Veterinary Hospital, Do You Have Compassion Fatigue? and How to C.A.R.E. so You Can Retain Lifelong Clients. Lunch on Saturday will be provided by Truly Force Free Animal Training.
