Description

In this talk we will cover the importance of a LIMA (least intrusive, minimally aversive)-based approach to behavior in any shelter. A LIMA approach is easy to implement, improves the quality of care for animals and develops a culture in which people thrive. You will leave this session with some simple ways to implement LIMA procedures in all departments of a shelter. You will also gain resources needed to hire and/or train staff in LIMA-based practices.
