Description
This course was formed from 26 years of professional pet sitting experience, 24 years of certification in pet CPR & 1st aid and 3 years as a Pet CPR & 1st Aid instructor. In this online course we share the skills and knowledge on how to prevent, recognize and treat issues with companion animals. We do this in a convenient and interactive way. Pet Health Academy was developed to be the most comprehensive and real life way to building the confidence for people to make pets' lives better. The topics covered include: Common health issues among cats and dogs How to obtain pets' vitals Safely restraining and muzzling 1st aid Choking CPR & Rescue Breathing Poisoning Hyperthermia & Hypothermia Seizures Bloat Videos on techniques are used as well as quizzes to test the student's grasp of concepts. A digital certificate is provided upon completion.
