Description

FirstAidforPets.net is an Award Winning and fully regulated training business providing dog first aid to the very highest standard in line with the veterinary care act and RECOVER guidance 2012. Our Dog First Aid course is 3 hours and covers how to care for an unconscious dog as well as commonly occurring injuries and illnesses including choking, bleeding, fitting, poisoning and much more. Our highly acclaimed dog first aid is run in small groups, with hands-on experience using our specially designed dog manikins and dog choking simulator and will have hands on experience with bandaging, muzzling and other key first aid principles. All participants will achieve a recognised Certificate and the course qualifies for verifiable CPD. The course is designed both for pet owners and those working with pets to ensure that you have the skills and confidence to provide appropriate first aid in those initial vital minutes following an accident. Fitting/seizures/convulsions Extremes of body temperature, Heat exhaustion, Heat stroke, Hypothermia Useful advice, summary and testing what has been learned.
