Description

This is a course I teach on behalf of the Edmonton Humane Society. The course focuses on reading and understanding dog body language, puppy developmental stages, using humane force-free training methods to train behaviours and achieve behaviour modification. This course is designed to get people started working towards their goal of becoming dog trainers. This course also includes hands-on work with the dogs housed in shelter, as well as assisting myself and our other trainers with our group training classes. We teach these students how to work with the clients to achieve their behaviour modification goals. Many of my students take this course to prepare for their CPDT-KA certification
