Description

This course is designed to help owners of reactive dogs to: 1) identify the cause of their dog's reaction 2) understand the role that hormones (and other biological processes) play in reactivity 3) correctly use both classical and operant conditioning to reduce the severity of their dog's reactions Reeling in Reactivity is a 6 week online course that focuses on using both biology and behavior science to help dog owners to better understand reactivity. With a solid understanding of the cause and function of reactivity, dog owners will learn to reduce the intensity of their dog's reactions without using food as a distraction OR using harsh corrections and tools. This course is best suited to those who have mastered basic obedience but may be struggling to proof in public or progress in sports due to reactivity. No basic obedience will be taught in this course.
