They will learn best practices and tips for implementing and enhancing reading programs for children at local schools, libraries, homeless shelters or other types of venues. The non-profit organization, Intermountain Therapy Animals, started the R.E.A.D. program in 1999. It is a national program and is also in 24 other countries. It is well known as being the first and the most comprehensive program available. Anyone that is interested in learning more about R.E.A.D. may attend. This worskhop is for humans only.
