Unless you're breeding or fostering litters frequently, it's likely that as a pet professional you have very little experience with neonatal puppies within their litters. In this 90-minute seminar, we'll cover developmental stages, the different commercially-available puppy-raising programs (eg. Puppy Culture, Avidog nka Good Dog, Super Puppy Biosensor Program), and the profound impact that early experiences can have for the life of a dog. This is an informal, roundtable-based seminar with lots of time built in for your questions. NOTE: we will have a litter of puppies present at this workshop (no extra charge for puppy kisses!). Because these puppies will not be old enough to receive their full set of vaccines at the time of the event, please wear clean clothes that have not been around unknown/unvaccinated dogs - bring a change of clothes if you will have been around other dogs earlier in the day. We will also ask that you use a shoe cleaning dip to ensure that you don't bring any potential pathogens in on your footwear and that you wash your hands prior to interacting with the puppies.
