Are you interested in using toys as training rewards or teaching tools, but not sure where to start? In this interactive, hands-on workshop, we'll introduce you to the nuts and bolts of using toys to reinforce your dog. You'll get lots of opportunities to practice skills like toy presentation, selecting the right toy, inviting play with a dog who's unsure or uninterested, modulating arousal in dogs who get super excited, managing regrabs and mouthiness in dogs who are still learning to control their mouths, and how to teach the basics of dropping a toy on cue and bringing back a toy for further play instead of playing keep-away. This workshop is for people only - please leave your dog at home. Dogs will be available to work with at the event.
