Description

This one hour presentation will cover how training can improve a dog's behavioral wellness and quality of life. Also covered is how working with veterinary professionals, training can decrease anxiety in patients while increasing safety for veterinary staff. This presentation will also educate attendees on how nutrition can influence a dog's behavior. Additionally, by use of operant conditioning and the LIMA approach, canine professionals and trainers can work together to keep dogs from being behaviorally euthanized or re-homed.
