Description

Whether you are simply interested in learning how to enjoy Do as I Do training with your cat, or interested in extending your Do as I Do dog training skill to other species, or just want to know what your cat is really capable of, this seminar will change the way you look at your kitty! Did you know that a cat is capable of copying human action by observing? It was long thought to be the ability limited to humans and great apes. The first study of a dog’s ability to imitate human action was published in 2006, and the first study of a cat’s ability to imitate human action was just published in 2020! During this seminar, the main researcher of the study, Dr. Claudia Fugazza, will explain how this research was done and what the findings suggest, in language we the general public understand. After you learn about the latest exciting scientific findings, I, Fumi Higaki will tell you how to teach Do as I Do to your cat step by step. I will also provide some useful tips and examples of new actions you can teach with Do as I Do. Most of this lecture will be done with videos of the actual training sessions. So I recommend you to have a stable internetwork connection. I can’t wait to show you what my cat can do. I hope you will feel proud discovering how special your relationship with your cat.
