Description

One of my favorite things to teach these days is a directed retrieve – cuing a dog to pick up a specific item and return it to your hand. The opposite of guarding is giving. It’s an incompatible behavior – a dog can’t want to give you something and keep it away from you at the same time. In this webinar I’ll cover specific case studies of dogs who used to bite their owners while guarding objects, who now happily bring those items to their owners instead.
