Description

All dog trainers and behavior consultants will end up working with muzzles sooner or later. This self-paced course by Certified Associate Applied Animal Behaviorist Katenna Jones is a review of muzzle use. It begins with the most basic of information and skills, including core foundational steps in acclimating a dog to a muzzle that are often overlooked yet critical for maintaining the dog's comfort and decreasing their stress level. The course builds upon that foundation and toward more advanced, complex situations that will not only help with specific "real life" examples, but get trainers and behavior consultants to think about new ways to approach their own unique cases. The course is a set of nine modules covering foundation training, materials and design, work site safety, and in-session use.
