It's true! Primitive breeds make up the majority of dogs living on earth! Even if they are not the majority of dogs you see in your home country, Primitive Breeds far outnumber other breeds on a world wide basis, yet they are incredibly misunderstood. Because these unique breeds don't fit the mold of the more domesticated dog breeds, labels start flying such as cat-like, dramatic, untrainable, lazy, uncooperative, stubborn, or aggressive. In reality, relationships with primitive breeds of dogs can be some of the most informative and rewarding. Join dog trainer and anthrozoologist Molly Sumner, CBATI, as she walks you through what cohabitation with Primitive dogs looks like and how to navigate training scenarios to keep these dogs coming back for more - over and over again.
