Description
This presentation is geared to clients, but trainers who want to learn more about how to help clients find an appropriate dog to train as a service dog will gain valuable information. Finding the right dog is critical for success. This two-part workshop covers whether to get a trained dog from a program or owner-train, costs and timelines, how to assess programs & breeders to get the best dog, pros and cons of puppies vs adult dogs, pros and cons of breeders vs rescues, and the search process. The recording will be made available to registrants to download so they can watch it later if they can't attend live.
