The theme for this year's Animal Behavior Management Alliance conference is "Quality Connections: Ready, Set, Train!" From April 29-May 1, 2021, attendees will join our Zoom Webinar to hear presentations and see live demonstrations from feature speakers who are experts in the field of animal training and welfare. Attendees will be greeted by a Keynote Panel discussion featuring Dr. Scarlett Magda, Veterinarians International; Dr. Suzan Murray, Smithsonian Conservation Biology Institute; Dr. James Hassell, Yale Public School of Health; Dr. Sue Varma, New York University Langone Health, entitled Connections, discussing the animal-human bond as well as mental well-being during a pandemic. Friday's presentations include a Social Media Panel, with five social media experts covering all aspects about building community, including accessibility and engagement, and focusing on the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (@usfws) Instagram account.
