In this presentation we'll discuss the history of deafness in dogs and review how working with means other than verbal cues can enhance your communication and training skill set. We will review the basic behaviors which can help to positively increase the human animal bond and which can aid in setting everyone up for success. Also, we will talk about how to teach and modify behaviors in the most effective manner focusing on non-auditory means of communication.
