Description

Alan Lakein once said, “Planning is bringing the future into the present so that you can do something about it now.” Whether you’re creating a training plan for a client or deciding on the direction you want to take your business, it all begins will a plan. For many, writing a business plan can be overwhelming, daunting, and confusing. But it doesn’t have to be that way. Join us for an introduction to business planning. Learn to shape your own behavior, develop the skills, and become comfortable with handling this important part of your business endeavors. Attendees will learn the steps to easily create a business plan, whether you’re refining an existing one or starting fresh. This presentation, the first in a four-part series*, will help make the planning process practical, functional and doable. You want to solve a problem. But, where do you start? How do you do it? Each element of a traditional business plan is important, so we’ll be tackling them individually in a practical way that makes it easier to digest, while making it enjoyable too. We will also be discussing the functions of things like a SWOT Analysis and the 1-minute Elevator Pitch. If you can feel the gears turning as you read this description, then this presentation is for you! Learning Objectives: As an attendee, by the completion of this course, you will be able to: - Understand the components of a traditional business plan - Determine the problem you want to address and solutions you want to offer - Design a business plan for an entrepreneurial venture - Understand the function and importance of a SWOT Analysis and Exit Strategy, and a whole lot more. *Please note: Each webinar can also be taken as a stand-alone course
