Description

The School of Canine Science is proud to present 'The Puppy Lab'. The Puppy Lab represents everything we wish we knew before we picked up our first puppies, conducted puppy 1-2-1's and ran those all important puppy classes. On top of that we've left it all on the table, if it's about puppies and we know about it, it's in this course. This is everything we know about puppies. This course is rounded and complete! We cover the science, delve into the theory, explore the practical application of this theory, introduce mechanical handling skills and then detial how to put this information into practice. We want anyone that completes this course to be armed with everything they need to know about puppies, be confident & educated in their choices and recommendations, but above all else make sure that the dogs they interact with start life on the right track. Between us we've handled more dogs than we can ever count, coached thousands of trainers & owners and spend thousands and thousands of pounds collecting information from all accross the globe. We've distilled this down into on place, right here. Welcome to.... The Puppy Lab! The modules include : Puppy Development : Understanding how and why the puppies we work with came to be who they are. The Puppy Survival Guide : Exploring the 7 most common problems puppy owners come to us with before the class even starts. Learning Theory Part 1 : Behaviourism : Unravelling the original science that underpins every training method used. 6 Week Puppy Course : A practical syllabus that will put your puppies on the right track to being excellent pet dogs; step-by-step guides for every single exercise in the 6 weeks including alternative methods and troubleshooting exercises plus bonus games. The Social Puppy : This sections covers integrating puppies with humans, dogs, other puppies, small animals, cats and livestock as well as guidance on identifying problems with cohabitants and building strong, lifelong relationships.
