Description
In our human society, looking people in the eyes is generally a socially valued behavior. But, there is a time and a place for everything. Eye contact has some drawbacks, and there are times when both teachers and learners can benefit from looking elsewhere. In this webinar, TAGteach founder Theresa McKeon and TAGteach faculty Eva Bertilsson discuss how teachers can use the direction of their gaze to support good learning. Breaking eye contact – when and why? Shifting focus through gaze and body language Improving demos and instructions Teaching the teacher (with TAGteach of course) – live demonstration.
