Description

The first in a series of lectures, this lecture will feature an overview of the history and development of both the experimental analysis of behavior and the science of applied behavior analysis (ABA.) The focus will be on the science of ABA with animals, more specifically dogs and cats. This first lecture will briefly discuss the principles of behavior, and will delve in depth into reinforcement and motivating operations. Case histories illustrating both will be presented, and instruction will include lecture and video. Questions about the science will be answered for the audience, however questions regarding individual pets will not be accepted.
