Description

Get Focused! is a Skill Sharper Mini Workshop that will be given by Lauren Tsao, Certified Professional Dog Trainer - Knowledge Assessed and Associate Certified Dog Behavior Consultant at Faithfully Yours Dog Training in Braxton, MS. Lauren has years of experience working with a variety of dog training cases, as well as other animals like dolphins, crows, chickens, small mammals, and horses using positive reinforcement based training methods to get results and foster behavioral changes. Lauren has an educational background in Psychology, which she applies to her work with animals and their owners. Working spot cost is $25 per person. Audit (non-working) spot cost is $15 per person. Only working spot holders may bring their dogs. Enroll for the workshop here. Date is subject to change if weather condition are not ideal. Get Focused! will cover exercises like the following: Why engagement and focus games can help prevent unwanted behaviors. How to build engagement and focus around distractions like other dogs and people. Using games to create a solid foundation for focus work and engagement. How to be more interesting to your dog and why it matters. Why a dog with handler focus is important for sports, family dogs, and every dog in between.
