Description

Life Stages - Puppy, Young Adolescent, Adult Part I: Puppies Though many people would like to think that puppies are clay they can mold, each puppy is an individual, with individual personalities and needs. Guardians and owners can help them reach their full potential by observing who they are and helping them grow. This class will cover the first months of life—from birth to young adolescence—and the challenges along the way. Part II: Aging Dogs Age creeps up on dogs, and it can confuse people, who can't figure out whats going on with their companions. Sometimes personalities change—some get testy, others mellow—and physical changes can and do influence behavior. In this segment, we will discuss some of the special needs of the aging dog and how owners can help it be a pleasant time.
