Description
This one hour presentation will be focused on 1st. graders and their teachers about how to be safe around dogs. I will be teaching why dogs behave in certain ways and how to avoid being bitten. I will emphasize how to care for dogs, how to behave around dogs, and the importance of good training for dogs. Children will practice a safe protocol for approaching dogs with certified therapy dogs. Children will be able to explain the difference between therapy dogs and service dogs.
