Description
Enrichment is an essential consideration for cats living in shelters and other cattery situations. This session will review the theory: the relationship between stress, handling/housing, and health; and proven beneficial impacts of enrichment; and look at applications: strategies for addressing the Five Freedoms in the shelter environment, current ASV guidelines, and tips for DIY enrichment. This session offered during the 2020 Midwest Veterinary Conference.
