Description
This session will focus on helping clients facing severe behavior problems in their pets, while continuing to consider the welfare of the patient. Issues to consider include risks, stress levels and quality of life for both client and patient; social attitudes; and potential consequences. We will talk about empathy, and worst-case scenarios - when might we need to discuss euthanasia? This session offered as part of the 2020 Midwest Veterinary Conference.
