Description

We will talk about the IHABS's training philosophy that involves growing and nurturing the human-animal bond through positive reinforcement and a firm understanding in behavioral science. We will cover basic concepts of learning theory as well as touch on more advanced applications in order to teach your animal practical life skills. We will show you how an in-depth understanding of canine behavior will help you to create effective, force-free, pain-free and fear-free training plans. A great deal of focus in this seminar will be on identifying stress behaviors in our canines in order to effectively implement counter-conditioning and desensitization protocols and, creating new, complex behaviors via simplifying the concepts shaping.
