Introduced in 1999, ITC is designed to improve your effectiveness as an instructor and increase your understanding of dog behavior and learning. Whether you are just starting out in the field, re-thinking your teaching methods, want to be the best teacher you can be, or need a shot of enthusiasm… this innovative continuing education program is for you. It will provide you with the knowledge and skills critical for success and help you to develop your own unique style to create fun, motivating classes. All types of dog professionals and levels of experience welcome. Photos, testimonials, sample schedules, staff bios and lots of details are all on our website. • Small classes with lots of individual, only 16 full-time students • 5+ days of hand-on learning in a safe, fun, learning environment at a state-of-the-art inspiring shelter. • LOTS of shelter dog training, practice teaching, discussion, video review, projects and more. • Instructors have over 70 years of combined experience in training dogs and people, behavior modification, rescue/sheltering, teaching professionals, and pet, sport, and service dog training.
