Description
Dogs have adapted to live with humans for thousands of years, so why do some seem to have a problem fitting in? Assumptions are sometimes made, which may seem sensible to us as humans, but do not make sense from a biological perspective. Over the course of this weekend I hope to bring new insights into the evolution of the dog human relationship, the development of dogs and the factors relating to the immediate expression of behaviour, drawing on the latest fundamental and applied research relating to dogs, the expression of pain and the human animal bond. The result is a much more compassionate understanding of a dogs needs and how to get the best out of our partnership.
