Description

TAGteach is clicker training for humans. In this session you will learn the origin of TAGteach, the various fields that use TAGteach and have a clear understanding of how you can incorporate TAGteach in your dog (and human) training business. We will look at the science behind TAGteach, and make correlations to the same learning theory you have learned as a dog trainer. We will talk about positive reinforcement, extinction, measurement techniques, and the 4 D's: distance, distraction, duration and direction. Some TAGteach applications for dog trainers are: training owners/handlers, working with shelter volunteers, and self-tagging. By utilizing TAGteach you can help your clients: ? split instead of lump ? understand criteria ? set achievable goals ? take the guesswork out of training ? get faster, more accurate results
