Description
Our self-study course covers the following topics in detail: - Reading and interpreting dog body language, understanding and identifying the breeds, and social and behavioral development from puppyhood to adulthood. - Learning theory, including classical and operant conditioning, building basic and advanced behaviors - obedience, manners, and more - from the ground up, as well as how to manage and handle dogs safely and effectively. - Safety and equipment, behavior problem solving, and how to work effectively with shelter dogs. Students can earn a Certificate in Dog Training and Behavior from our State-Licensed Career School and learn skills for training, behavior, and all dog-related career fields.
