This hour webinar will review causes of separation distress and prevention and training recommendations. Canine separation anxiety is essentially a panic attack that occurs when the dog is in the absence of its attachment figure. It is one of the most common behavioral problems of dogs with approximately 20% of US dogs affected. Learn behavior modification exercises to help prevent separation anxiety in puppies and practical tips for creating independence in the adult dog.
