Description

• Attendees will learn why the dominance model is outdated and how to identify other ways to interact with dogs for a positive outcome. The way we use our body language and the choices we give dogs have profound effects on their behavior. Although later webinars will focus on handling shy and aggressive dogs, the foundation is introduced here. Understanding how to use our body language effectively will help the animal welfare community provide more sound assessments, reduce bites, and improve quality of life for dogs in their care. This course is geared towards animal shelter staff/ volunteers and veterinary staff and is useful for dog trainers, doggie daycare owners, dog owners and groomers. Duration: 60 min Time: 3-4pm EST
