Join author and trainer Pat Miller for her only northern California appearance this spring. This 2 day seminar will sharpen your teaching, training and handling skills, enabling you to communicate more effectively with the dogs in your life. Seminar Topics are as follows- Saturday morning – ‘Body Talk’-Our social structures are similar, but our body languages are very different. Discover how to send the right messages to your dog, and how to use BODY TALK to your best advantage for training and relationship purposes. Sunday morning - Positive Solutions for Problem Behaviors-Learn to apply the principles of behavior and learning to resolve problem behaviors without the use of force. Saturday and Sunday afternoons will be a participation presentation on Shaping (limited to 30 participant teams.) You will be amazed by the complex behaviors your dog can master when you are able to apply free shaping, directed shaping, lure shaping or prompt shaping appropriately.
