Reaching Rover – Creating A Behaviour Intervention Plan for Aggressive Dogs is a Two Day Seminar that takes students behind the scenes in a behaviour intervention program. This educational opportunity is geared towards dog owners with aggressive dogs, dog care professionals, progressional dog trainers and those interested in becoming a professional canine behaviour consultant. However, veterinarians, dog training professionals, animal care attendants, animal related retailers and dog owners are encouraged to attend. Attendees will learn about learning theory and behaviourism, clicker training concepts, methods of behaviour modification, how to take a behaviour profile, how to generate a contingency statement, things to avoid in a training program, foundation skills and behaviours that are necessary, DRI, DRA, DRO, shaping, threshold model, how to create a Systematic Behaviour Intervention Plan and so much more. Parts IV and V finish off the series with sample case works and live demos of the plan coming together.
